With the song basically being the backbone of the whole album, I personally only liked two songs out of that, Neon Guts would take third on the top 3 for this album, only because most of the other songs weren’t really what I had envisioned for a second Luv is Rage. Then it tops off with the favorite song ”XO Tour Lif3″ that took storm with over 90 million views on YouTube. I enjoy Pharrell Williams and all, but it was more or less a mellow love song that just didn’t really sit well. But then it kind of flat-lined after awhile with Neon Guts. The lyrics emphasize pain and despair but seems to have an almost inspirational tone to where it has the listener have a sense of will to get through the day or some scenario happening in their life. It’ll seem like he’s reaching a peak when the album really reaches its climax with “The Way Life Goes”. His album starts out slow in my opinion, but to most of his fans. (Hopefully in my next post, I’ll do summaries on rappers) Which basically raises some questions as to why he wanted to use that name in the first place. If you say is stage name fast it may resemble the name Lucifer. There is rumors that he is said to be a Satanist or what most people call a “Devil Worshiper”.
